ARCHITECTURE SPEC

From the DOM
to manifestation.

The internal path Quetzalcoatl Core uses to extend DOM structure into a parallel runtime and materialize its visual response through the GPU.

INTERNAL PIPELINEDISCOVER · REPRESENT · RESOLVE · MATERIALIZE
01
SEMANTIC SOURCE

DOM

Structure · Semantics · Native behavior · Geometry

The DOM remains the semantic and interaction plane. QC preserves native web structure, behavior and geometry instead of replacing them.

02
DISCOVERY

DOM MAPPER

Participation · Styles · Bounds

The mapper discovers participating elements and extracts the geometry and visual information required to represent them inside the runtime.

03
RUNTIME ENTITY

NAHUAL

Identity · Energy · State · Relationships

A participating element gains a runtime counterpart with identity, energy, state and relationships inside the Universe.

04
PARALLEL RUNTIME

UNIVERSE

Hierarchy · Relationships · Energy · State

Nahuales coexist inside a parallel runtime space where energy, hierarchy, relationships and dynamic state can evolve.

05
PERTURBATION

RAYS

Origin · Direction · Intensity

Rays carry interaction into the Universe as perturbations with an origin, direction and intensity.

06
STATE RESOLUTION

RUST / WASM

Energy · Coupling · Motion · Equilibrium

Rust/WASM evolves the active Universe, resolving energy, relationships and motion as the runtime approaches equilibrium.

07
MATERIALIZATION

CRYSTAL

Projection · Surfaces · Displacement · State

Crystal projects resolved runtime state into a visual representation that can be materialized by the active rendering backend.

08
GPU BACKEND

WEBGL2

Viewport · Surfaces · GPU Outpu

WebGL2 is the current rendering backend, materializing supported Crystal projections through the GPU.

OUTPUT

The Universe
becomes visible.

The DOM remains the semantic plane. Participating elements are represented as Nahuales inside the Universe. Rays introduce perturbation. Rust/WASM resolves the evolving state. Crystal projects the result, and WebGL2 materializes the supported visual response through the GPU.

ARCHITECTURAL BOUNDARY

Crystal defines how resolved runtime state becomes a visual representation.
WebGL2 materializes that representation through the GPU today, while the architecture remains open to other rendering backends.
